1. sPECIFICATION

Hinchinbrook Shire Council is asking suppliers who wish to provide goods and/or services to Council to register their interest for Council’s Procurement Panels under the following categories:-

By registering interest for procurement panels you will be directly invited to quote on the goods and/or services related to the panel/s you are registered for.

Please note that if you have already registered for Council’s Procurement Panels, you do not need to re-register, unless you wish to register for any newly added categories.

The new categories are in bold and coloured.

2. Conditions of REGISTER INTEREST FOR COUNCIL’S PROCUREMENT PANELS

The submission is to include the following documentation:-

Suppliers Detail Form.
Individual category Registration Forms (25 categories).

Please note that Register Interest for Council’s Procurement Panels must be submitted on the forms provided. The form must be completed in full without amendment, failing which, the register of interest may not be considered.

Please note: Faxed register of interests are acceptable to  (07) 4776 3233, however it is the responsibility of the Supplier to ensure that arrangements are made by contacting Council’s Records Manager on  (07) 4776 4600, to have the faxed register of interest placed in the Tender Box by closing time.

5. ASSESSMENT CRITERIA & WEIGHTINGS

Register Interest for Council’s Procurement Panels does not involve any assessment criteria. However assessment criteria and weightings may be applied as part of the Request to Quote process, should the panel you are registered for be invited to quote on goods and /or services.

6. Acceptance of REGISTER INTEREST FOR COUNCIL’S PROCUREMENT PANELS

Suppliers acknowledge and agree that:-

Council does not guarantee any amount of supply of goods and/or services.
Council reserves the right to publicly invite separate request for quotes for specific goods and/or services.
Separate tenders and contracts may be invited for projects requiring significant quantities of goods and/or services.
Council will advise suppliers when a panel the supplier has nominated for is invited to provide a quote for goods and/or services.
The supplier is not obliged to submit a quote if invited as a result of being registered on the nominated panel.
The supplier is required to maintain and update Council on any change to the supplier’s details as specified on the Suppliers Details Form.
The supplier may be requested by Council to join an online procurement publishing portal (e.g. Tenderlink) to allow invitation to quote on goods and/or services for the procurement panels the supplier has nominated.
Suppliers release the Council from all claims of any kind arising in any way out of or in connection with the register of interest process, including claims arising as a result of the negligence or breach of duty by the Council, or by persons for whose acts and omissions the Council is liable.
A registration to a panel shall be deemed to have been accepted when such acceptance has been notified to the supplier in writing.
