The following is some important information regarding the 2018 powerlifting season.

State website – www.thspa.us – has all the information you should need including the rulebook,
Regional standings and other important information.
THSPA Membership Dues - The membership form is located on the state website and all dues must be postmarked by January 22nd. Any school that competes in a meet must be a member in good standing in order for its team and the meet results to count towards the regional standings.
Important Dates:
February 24th – Last qualifying date (results on this day must be received by midnight)
February 26th – 4:00 pm Weight declarations for double qualified lifters.
March 10th – Saturday - Regional Meet for Division 2 Lifters – Smithville High School
March 24th – State Meet – Taylor County Expo Center, Abilene, TX
Invitational Meets – If you are hosting a meet YOU MUST certify the meet using the online meet registration link that is located on the state website. Once that is submitted I will certify the meet and you will receive a confirmation email stating that your meet is certified. Make sure that your meets follow all guidelines to be a legal meet, especially those who host on the LQ date. Just because it’s certified does not mean results will automatically be accepted and posted. Also, if you host a meet you must use Powerscore to score the meet. It is provided free of charge through the state website. At the completion of your meet you will submit your meet results to me via email and I will post on the state website.
Regional Standings – these will automatically update as I enter meets each week. Please check these each week and if there are errors in the spelling of your lifters names please send me an email so I can get those corrected.
Regional Meet – Division 2 will lift on Saturday, March 10th. There will be an early weigh-in the day before each meet. More information will follow later.
