Job Purpose
To provide support in the analysis of data, generation and presentation of management information and its interpretation for business intelligence purposes

Role Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- To collect, organise and study a range of business and customer data
- To prepare a range of digital media for the presentation of information for management decision making
- To assist in the analysis and evaluation of data/information as the basis for business insight and intelligence
- To assist in managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating of data and the use of data analytics to interpret that data
- Provide technical data solutions to colleagues across the business to assist in performance management
- To provide bespoke project support for the livin Digital Strategy and the Customer Voice real-time customer intelligence project and a range of emergent projects
- To document and report the results of data analysis activities making recommendations to improve business performance
- To provide support to the Business Transformation team in the implementation of systems, procedures, training and guidance to ensure data quality and integrity at livin
- To develop appropriate data structures within corporate information systems and support the development of a range of tools and analytics
- To support data migration between digital systems and the development of digital dashboards with associative trend analytics
- To ensure the confidential handling of business data within information security standards and ICT systems architecture
- To apply a range of analytical tools including data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to predict trends and data regression and correlation
- To assist in the production of performance dashboards and reports enabling visualisation of business intelligence
- To contribute to the broader work of the Business and Digital Transformation team as required
Qualifications
In order to be accepted onto the degree level apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions (Data Analysis) candidates will needa minimum of 240 UCAS points via A Levels and/or NVQ3 studies – including Mathematics and/or ICT. They will also have achieved Grades A*-C in GCSE Mathematics and English language.
Candidates will be required to commit to study towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (accredited by the University of Sunderland) including:
- 10 hours per week of self-study conducted outside of contractual working hours
- Attendance at termly workshops at the University campus (approved via study release)
- Frequent digital correspondence with Tutors and Skills Coach to ensure progress is maintained and regular dialogue with management to ensure optional units elected fit with the goals and objectives of livin
