RECRUITMENT RULES AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR
CONTRACTUAL POSTS FOR THE YEAR 2017-18
Post / Essential Educational qualifications / Desirable qualifications / Age limit as on 01.04.2017 / RemunerationPrimary Teacher / a) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent; and
b) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET-Paper I) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
c) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
(If CTET not available:
Diploma in Educaton (D.Ed.,) or Certificate in Basic Teachers’ Training of a duration of not less than 2 years (or) B.El. Education.
Equivalent=Dip. In Elementary Education of two years./BSTC of two years.
B.Ed., or B.Ed.(Special Education) are not eligible. / Knowledge of computer applications / 18-65
years / Rs.21,250/-pm consolidated pay
POST GRADUATE TEACHER / 1. Two years’ Integrated
Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;
Or
Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a) PGT (English)- English
b) PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
c) PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
d) PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
e). PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
f) PGT (Biology) - Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
g.PGT (History) – History
h.PGT Geography-Geography
i.PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
j.PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.

Candidates having Special B.Ed., are not eligible for the the post of PGT

POST GRADUATE TEACHER
(Computer Science) / At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
1. B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India. OR
B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University.
OR
M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR
B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University. OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University. OR
‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject. OR
‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
2. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English. / - / 18-65 years / Rs.27,500/-pm consolidated pay
TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER / 1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ;
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :
a) For TGT (‘Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
b) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
c) For TGT (English) : English as a subject in all the three years.
d) For TGT (S.St) Any two of the following:
History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
i. History with at least 50% marks in aggregate and one subject out of Geography/Economics/Political Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate and also atleast 50% marks in graduation, OR
ii. Geography with 50% marks with History/Economics/Political Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate and also at last 50% marks in graduation.
iii. Geography/History should have been studied in all the years of graduation with atleast 50% marks.
e) For TGT (Maths) - Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
BA(Hons) in Maths and B.Sc., (Hons) in any subject other than Maths are not eligible for the post of TGT(Maths)
f) F) For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in all 3 years of graduation with atleast 50% marks in each subject.
The candidates with Honours Degree in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry with at least 50% marks in B.Sc., should have studied other two subjects with at least 50% marks in each of them t graduation level.
2) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET-Paper II), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(5% relaxation in CTET marks is given to SC,ST,OBC and PH for TGT posts (i.e. 82 marks or more are eligible)
3) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.

Vocational Instructor for Sports / Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or equivalent or

Educational Counselor
(Cl.IX to XII) (If eligible teachers are not available in KV) / BA/B.Sc., (Psychology) from a Recognized college/University with Certificate Diploma in counseling. / Min. of one year experience in providing career/educational counseling to students at schools (OR)
working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus. (OR) registration with Rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational counselor / 18-65 years / Rs.26,250/-pm consolidated pay (As per KVS lr.no.F.110338/01/2015/KVSHQ/Acad dt.07.01.2016)
German (Foreign) Language Teacher
(for Cl.VI to VIII; & for Cl.IX-X as additional/ Optional/hobby subject) /
- B2 level of the Common European Framework for languages. (or)
- Degree/Diploma in German for teachers who have learnt German from Indian Universities.
Medical Doctor / MBBS and registered with MCI / Basic Life Support Course at least once in two years / - / Rs.1000/- per day for two hours.
Nurse / Diploma in Nursing / Basic Life Support Course at least once in two years. / - / Rs.750/- per day (7 hours – one hour before and one hour after school)
Yoga Teacher /
- Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized university.
- One year training in yoga from a recognized institution.
DANCE COACH / Degree/Diploma in any Indian classical Dance from a recognized institution. / - / 18-65 years / Rs.21,250/-pm consolidated pay
TELUGU LANGUAGE TEACHER / Degree in Telugu as an elective in all 3 years from a recognized university / - / 18-65 years / Rs.21250/- (To be borne by the children)
In the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidates fulfilling other criteria may be considered.
