Reappointment Schedule for Fall2018
Payroll and Tax Serviceshas scheduled the Reappointment process for academic year Limited Term Lecturer appointment changes effective August 13, 2018. Following are the key dates:
- 07/26/18 - Payroll will run reports and enter all active LTL's into spreadsheets
- 07/27/18 - Payroll will distribute spreadsheets to Colleges/Schools and Regional Campuses
- 08/03/18 - Electronic spreadsheets are due to Payroll, WL
- 08/08/18 - PA's to supersede spreadsheets are due to Payroll
- 08/13/18 - Original spreadsheets with appropriate signatures and 19L's are due to Payroll
- 08/15/18 - Last day to enter any changes for LTL's who are scheduled to be paid in August
- 08/16/18 - Payroll will begin the MO payroll write
Use the reappointment spreadsheets to make changes to 9 mo. academic year limited term lecturer appointments effective August 13, 2018,ONLY.NOTE: A Personnel Action (PA) Formis required for appointment changes effective before or after August 13, 2018.
Thetermination (separation or end additional) datewill be August 11, 2018.
New Instructions for AY LTL Reappointments:
1)Review each LTL on the spreadsheet.
2)Complete "CUL" and "Mo Rate" in the yellow "PROPOSED" columns only for those LTLs who are continuing with changes in pay and/or CUL.
Note: The spreadsheet will calculate the cash pay for the full semester (4.5 payments); please adjust if LTL is working a partial semester.
3)For all other LTL's, choose one of the following from the drop-down list in "Comments":
- Continue-No Chng – the LTL is continuing at the same rate and CUL.
- No Action – the status of the LTL is unknown; Payroll will zero out the pay, and a PA will be required to remove from this status.
- Termination – the LTL will terminate on 8/11/18; Payroll will determine if the action should be End Additional or Separation.
- Transfer – the LTL will be transferring to another position; a PA and 19L, if applicable, will be required.
4)Send electronic spreadsheets to .
5)Print completed spreadsheet, obtain appropriate signatures, attach 19L's for continuations, and forward to Payroll, WL, for processing.
6)If a PA is required to update/change the information submitted on the reappointment spreadsheet, note on the PA that it is "superseding the LTL reappointment list."
Additional Notes:
- The effective date for all actions must be 8/13/18; any other date will require PA's.
- PA's are required for all transfers and no actions. The effective date must be 8/13/18.
- Form 19L's are required for continuations and transfers from one LTL position to another LTL position.
- If spreadsheets are not submitted, the LTL's will continue to be paid at the current rate of pay.
