- Water Bottles – please continue to have your students bring one
- Planners – Please sign your child’s planner each night. If they miss more than twice in one week they must write me a $25 check. This planner keeps open communications between teacher, student and parent.
- Checkbook System – In my class students are given a “checkbook”. They have a weekly allowance and also get paid for various jobs that they do in class. Everyone will have a chance to do all the jobs in the classroom throughout the year. Students must write checks for various reasons such as not being prepared for class, not following the rules: Be safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, they must also buy checks if they run out. They must write checks to attend monthly class parties (usually the last Friday of the month). These are some of the ways to earn and spend money in my class.
- If your child has to write a check they will either write to tell you why, I will email you or you will get a copy of the check and you can discuss it with your child. Thank you in advance for your support in keeping our students safe, respectful and responsible.
