Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama, born on January 17th, 1964, is the wife of the 44th President of the United States, Barrack Obama. She is the first African-American First Lady of the United States. She comes from Chicago. She is the mother of two girls: Malia and Sasha. She helps poor people and tries to teach people how to eat in a good way to become thin.

Michelle Obama is very popular. She is one of the 10 best dressed people in the world. She fights for African- American women. She is a positive model and influences the opinion of the world on black people in America. People compare her to Jacqueline Kennedy for her style and to Barbara Bush for her discipline. She often wears clothes by designers like Calvin Klein.

Helping at Home

My home is a B&B or a Bed and Breakfast. A B&B is a house with one or two bedrooms that are used like a hotel. In my house, there are five bedrooms: three are for our family and two for the guests who come for a night or more and pay like in a hotel.

In the school holidays, my sister Ruth and I help our parents at our B&B. I help my mum make the beds of the guests. My sister is good at cooking, so she helps our dad prepare breakfast. Breakfast is very important in a B&B and our guests usually want a full English breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, and mushrooms.
