5) Updated Suspension Analyzer Features (IRS and 40" travel for off roaders) We recently updated the Suspension Analyzer to v1.1 C.017. It now has allows up to 20 inches of dive (or squat in the rear) and 20 inches of rise, 40 inches of travel total. This was needed by the "off road" crowd, who have reported very good luck using our programs designing suspensions with large amounts of travel. We have also included a new type of Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) which features =
an "H" beam as the lower arm and a Camber arm on the top. This suspension is used in production in the 87 IRS T Birds, the IRS Mustang Cobras, and several Formula type race cars. Click here for a description of the new IRS suspension type < .
