URGENT

ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE????

Hi Parents,

Please read the attached form carefully. Over the last couple of years many schools have lost money to their budget due to funding changes and parents being unaware of their need to register properly for FREE SCHOOL MEALS.

This is now costing St. Andrews several thousands of pounds each year. Consequently,if eligible parents don’t complete the form, then this is money taken away from our children’s education.
It is suggested that many parents think that because school meals are free for younger children then there is no need to complete a form...THIS IS WRONG. It is so important that parents register. If the present school meals system changes again then parents who haven’t registered could easily lose out.

PARENTS OF ST ANDREW’S ....PLEASE RETURN THE ATTACHED FORM by next Tuesday(21st).
We are hoping 100% of parents will help our school by returning this form so we know exactly where we stand for our financial future.

If you don’t need to apply for free school meals then still, pleasesend the form back to your child’s class teacher with ‘NIL RETURN’written clearly across the form. If you do wish to apply and wish any details to remain CONFIDENTIAL then simply enclose your form in the sealed envelope provided. IF YOU’RE NOT SURE,STILL FULLY COMPLETE AND RETURN TO SCHOOL. Thank you.

REMEMBER:EACH ELIGIBLE PARENT WHO DOES NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM IS PREVENTING OUR CHILDREN FROM HAVING THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE SCHOOL BUDGET TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR EDUCATION.

You may have heard of schools having to lose teachers and support staff and have fewer classroom resources. WE DON’T WANT THIS SITUATION AT ST ANDREW’s.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT IN THIS DIFFICULT MATTER.

Regards

G Huckstep BA
