Dear Parents/Carers

Re: Chadsgrove School Bromsgrove Tuesday 6 June 2017 and Worcester University Arena – Monday 12 June 2017

We have arranged for class 2HP to take part in The Big Sing at Worcester University Arena with many other schools from across the county on Monday 12 June 2017. As well as this we have arranged for the class to visit Chadsgrove School in Bromsgrove on Tuesday 6June 2017 as an opportunity to practice their performance with the children from Chadsgrove.

Many parents/carers have already enquired about coming along to see their son/daughter perform at the Big Sing. Unfortunately, as the Worcester arena will be full, tickets for the event are not available but we will try to take photos if possible.

As with all school trips, it is necessary to ask for voluntary contributions from parents/carers. The voluntary cost of the visit to Worcester University Arena is £2.50 per child which will include transport and admission. We require a voluntary contribution from Parents / Carers in order to run the visit. We do not wish any student to be excluded for financial reasons and parents/carers who wish their son/daughter to take part but feel unable to make this contribution should contact the school.

All children will need to come in school uniform and wear sensible school shoes. Each child will need a packed lunch for the trip to Worcester University Arena. If your child is eligible for Free School Meals please indicate below if you would like the school to provide your child with a packed lunch.

The trip will be during the school day and pupils will be back in time for their transport. Please complete the consent form and return to school together with the voluntary contribution by Monday 5 June 2017.If insufficient funds are received then we will have no choice but to cancel this trip.
