LEGISLATURE 1961, JUNE 13, P.L. 282 (53

SECTION 8004) AND BETHLEHEM ORDINANCE NO.

3952 AS AMENDED.

WHEREAS, it is proposed to install a window sign and a sign above the front door at 736 E. Fourth St.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bethlehem that a Certificate of Appropriateness is hereby granted for the work.

CASE # 309 – It is proposed to install a window sign and a sign above the front door at 736 E. Fourth St. OWNER: Philip Spohn

The Commission upon motion by Mr. Evans and seconded by Mr. Cornish adopted the proposal that City Council issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed work described herein:

1.  The proposal to install a window sign and a sign above the front door was presented by Jorge R. Barillas.

2.  The proposed window sign will be 41.74” x 22.84” in size with logo and text reading “Panaderia Quetzal Bakery” as shown in the rendering submitted.

3.  The colors will be burgundy and green with a white outline.

4.  The sign above the door will be 20” x 33.87 in size with a similar logo and text to the windows sign as shown in the rendering submitted.

5.  The sign will be fabricated of a dimensional high density urethane and be stud mounted to the sign fascia.

6.  The background color will be cream and the text, logo, and border will be burgundy or burgundy and green.

7.  The proposed work was approved by a unanimous vote.
