Apprentice Human Resources

Main Purpose of Job

To support the HR Team in deliveringHR Advisory, Learning& Development and Payroll servicesacross the Council, whilstgaining a wide range of Human Resources experience as part of working towards your Apprenticeship qualification.

Main Duties

  1. To support the HR team in delivering consistent, effective HR advice and guidance in a customer focussed and timely way.
  1. To assist in providing a first point of contact as part of dealing with enquiries via phone and email for all HR Advisory, Learning &Development and Payroll queries,providing advice where appropriate or by referring to a more senior member of the HR team if complex
  1. To support the Learning and Development teamin providing pre and post-learning support, eglearning events, recording attendance, evaluations, analysing data and reporting results.
  2. To assist the HR Advisors and Payroll in undertaking appropriate administration to support their work.
  1. To utilise HR systems to provide information to HR team and employees, updating records and completing routine procedures where required
  1. To assist in ensuring all administrative processes are recorded and shared within the team and are available to the wider HR team to build resilience
  1. Such variations as may be required from time to time without changing the general character of the duties show or the level of responsibility entailed.
