Roger A. McKenzie is the Keynote Speaker. Roger A. McKenzie was a part-time instructor of religion at Brigham Young University and a popular speaker at Especially for Youth classes. He wrote a book called, “How Awesome Will It Be?: A Teenager's Guide to Understanding and Preparing for the Second Coming”. Brother McKenzie served a mission to the Philippines and later earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of the State of New York. He subsequently earned his master’s degree in counseling and doctoral degree in management from the University of Phoenix. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm before joining the Church Educational System. He is currently serving as the seminaries and institute coordinator for the Raleigh area.   • Free Time – Mid-Singles Focused Activity, tours of Raleigh, hiking, boating (paddle boat, kayak, or canoe), Temple Session (In the same parking lot as the chapel.)
