NEWS UPDATE
Adjustment of concession in Subscriptions
1.Action for upgradation of members becoming eligible for subscription applicable to above 80 years, Sr Ctz, Gallantry Awardees etcfrom 01 Jan 2015 to 31 Mar 15 will be adjusted in due course.
Payment of Yearly Bill
2.For delayed payment 2% interest per month is being levied on pending amount wef 01 Jun 2014. In case bills remain unpaid for more than fourmonths, action will be initiated to terminate membership (RSI Rules and Bye Laws-2013, Part I Rules Para 50 (e), 82 to 84)
E Mail Add and Mob No
3.Monthly bills are being sent to the members on their registered e-mail ID. All members who have not updated their Mob No or e mail IDare again requested to register detailsimmediately so communication can be made with them.
Pre-paid Sys
4.All members are requested to have adequate balance in their acct to avoid any inconvenience at the serving counters. All members should sign the chit being handed over at service counter and retain the duplicate chit with them while swiping their smart cards for their accounting, since hard copies of bills generation has been stopped. Members are also allowed self service at Polo (Lower) Bar and Cinema lounge for obtaining chits for speedy service.
Possession of Membership Cards
5.Possession of RSI Membership Card by a member, dependents and guests entry ismandatory for entry at every venue of Institute. Please show your RSI Card/guest pass on
demand by RSI staff on duty. Members are requested to collect their Smart Cards imdt after
swiping and are responsible for its safe custody.
Walk-in-Membership
6.Serving Offrs alongwith dependant family members (Spouse & Children) on lve / temp duty at Pune are now permitted Day Long Walk-in-Membership. Offrs to enter particulars in Guest Register and obtain Guest Entry pass of Rs 25/- each per head by showing their service iden card/dependant cards. Thereafter temp pre paid smart card will be issued for utilization of Bar & Restaurant facilities only. The temp prepaid smart cards are to be returned back to RSI on the same day for receiving back balance/unused amount. No guests of walk-in-guests will be permitted. Walk-in-membership is applicable for entry to Bar and restaurant only. Extra guest charges as applicable shall be charged for other facilities.

Closing of Service (Stn) Membership
7.Service (Stn) members are reqd to surrender their membership card and obtain clearance cert from RSI, Pune before leaving on posting/retirement. Non adherence will invite penalty three times of normal subscription from the date of default and membership will be terminated.
Smoking in the RSI Complex
8.RSI is a “No Smoking Zone”. Any member found smoking in RSI campus (Open Air Theatre and outside, Lawn, Bars, Card Rooms, Restaurant, Café Code Red, Parking etc) will be charged Rs 500/- penalty for every default. Member wish to smoke are requested to use the area behind Gaziboes (towards golf ground) marked as “Smoking Zone”.

9.Amdt to Rules and Bye Laws, Part – I (Rules) and Part – II (Bye Laws) have been uploaded on RSIWebsite‘ for info of members.
Closing of RSI.
10.RSI Pune will remain closed on 01 Jan and 26 Jan 2015. English movie on 01 Jan 2015 (Thursday) and Hindi movie on 26 Jan 2015 (Monday) will not be screened.
