Three Cimcorp Experts Recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics

Three experts from the leading intralogistics automation specialist accept prestigious supply chain award for their influential contributions to the supply chain industry

GRIMSBY, Ontario—March 15, 2017—Cimcorp, a manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, announces Derek Rickard, distribution systems sales manager, and Don Heelis, tire and AGV systems sales manager, have been named to the 2017 “Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain.” Additionally, Bruce Bleikamp, sales manager, joins the two on the prestigious Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2017 Provider Pros to Know list.

The Food Logistics Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award recognizes influential individuals and organizations in the food/beverage industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped and continue to attain milestones in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation throughout the global food supply chain. This is Rickard’s third year in a row being honored by Food Logistics, while making this Heelis’ first appearance on the Rock Stars of the Supply Chain list.

Receiving more than 300 entries, the 2017 Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list includes the 2016 Provider Pros to Know—individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who have helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges—and Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.

Once again, this is Rickard’s third year in a row being named a Pro Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. Heelis is making his second appearance in a row on the list, while 2017 marks Bleikamp’s first year being recognized.

In response to the handful of award wins, Rick Trigatti, North America president, Cimcorp, said, “I am so proud of Derek, Don and Bruce for their dedication and determination to shape the global supply chain at such a high level. Whether it’s helping implement an island of automation or the Cimcorp Dream Factory in tire facilities, warehouses or distribution centers, each individual understands that every customer has specific needs in order to increase efficiency, accuracy and throughput to improve their bottom line and stay competitive in their markets.”

The full list of the Pros to Know is currently available at and will appear in the March 2017 print issue of the magazine due out in mid-March.
