Radio Cache Issue Distribution Procedures

Cached radios capable of both old and new 800 MHz mutual aid channels are being provided by Sprint Nextel for use in mutual aid situations where responding agencies may not have radios programmed with the operational mutual aid channels. Radios will be programmed only with mutual aid, and will be supplied with two (2) high capacity batteries each. No accessories will be available with the radios beyond a multi-unit battery charger.
