Providers will have an open window between October 17, 2016 and April 15, 2017 to submit claims. A listing of permissible reasons for qualifying claims may be obtained at: https://www.medicaid.state.ar.us/Download/provider/faq/TimelyFilingFAQs.pdf along with other pertinent information.
CLAIMS FILED BY PROVIDERS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY UNDER THE IDENTIFIED LISTING WILL BE REVIEWED AND RECOUPED.
To: prosthetics and hyperalimentation providers / re: formula update
Effective February 1, 2017, Arkansas Medicaid covers Gerber Extensive HA, Nestle Alfamino Infant, and Nestle Alfamino Junior formula in conjunction with WIC. The change reflects an update and replacement of the previous products, Abbott Alimentum, Nutricia Neocate Infant, Nutricia Neocate Junior, and Gerber Good Start Premature 24 calorie. Coding and billing protocols are unchanged.

If you intend to use the Alternate Attestation system, you must initiate attestation by Feb. 24, 2017, to allow CMS time to verify eligibility with Arkansas Medicaid.

To: All Eligible Hospital (EH) and Eligible Provider (EP) Program Year 2016 Application Deadline / RE: Program Year 2016 Application Deadline
If you wish to apply for an EHR incentive payment for Program Year 2016, you must submit your application/attestation by March 31, 2017.
A submitted application means that you have registered with the R&A, attested through MAPIR and completed the MAPIR application by clicking the Submit button.
