Providers will have an open window between October 17, 2016 and April 15, 2017 to submit claims. A listing of permissible reasons for qualifying claims may be obtained at: https://www.medicaid.state.ar.us/Download/provider/faq/TimelyFilingFAQs.pdf along with other pertinent information.
CLAIMS FILED BY PROVIDERS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY UNDER THE IDENTIFIED LISTING WILL BE REVIEWED AND RECOUPED.
To: All Providers / RE: NEW ISSUE OF ARMEDICAID INSIDER
The next issue of ARMedicaid Insider, a provider newsletter that discusses Arkansas’ upgrade to a new MMIS, is available for viewing at https://www.medicaid.state.ar.us/Download/provider/insider/ARMedInsiderVol2-3.pdf. Topics include early registration for the new HealthCare Provider Portal, what will happen to claims in suspense during system crossover, and requirements for upgrading Provider Electronic Solutions (PES) software.
To: All Providers / Re: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services now DXC Technology
On April 1, 2017, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, the fiscal agent for Arkansas Medicaid, merged with CSC to form DXC Technology. Arkansas Medicaid providers will begin seeing the DXC Technology logo and name on correspondence. Emails from the fiscal agent will be from a dxc.com email address rather than an hpe.com address. Providers will also hear the new name when contacting a call center. DXC Technology will continue to provide the same level of service to the state of Arkansas and its Medicaid providers.
TO: Hospice Providers / RE: Routine Home Care and Service Intensity Add-On
Beginning the week of 4/3/17, system updates were completed in order to implement the mandated changes to the hospice routine home care rate structure and to implement the service intensity add-on. These changes are retroactive to dates of service beginning January 1, 2016. Additional information can be obtained at https://www.medicaid.state.ar.us/Provider/billbull.aspx.

Remittance Advices cannot be forwarded. Notify the Arkansas Medicaid Program of any address change, indicating all provider numbers affected by the change. This notification must include the provider’s original signature (no facsimiles accepted).
