If the application includes film material, it is needed on CD)

Welcome programme and recommended arrival dates / Recommended arrival date: one week before start of semester
(Beginning of October / Beginning of April)
An official Welcome Day for international students is set individually when all students have arrived.
We have student advisors for all INCOMING students who will take care and help individually.
Accommodation / We do not provide any accommodation but we assist finding a place to stay at a student dormitory. Students will receive further information about the application process for accommodation after being accepted.
Average cost of living per month
(subsistence, accommodation, books, entertainment etc) / 600 – 700 Euro
Tuition fee / Regular tuition fee in Lower Saxony amount to 500 Euros per semester. Students at Braunschweig University of Art are requested to pay 259,84 Euros in addition to that for student card, student ticket and enrolment.
International students are exempt from tuition fee but are asked to pay 184,84 Euros for student card and student ticket (student ticket allows free transportation on all busses and trams in Braunschweig and on all regional trains in Lower Saxony).
