Annual Membership Fees & Special Programs:
Individual: $165.00
Early Bird Program: Monday through Friday, 6 – 9 a.m. Saturday 7 – 8 a.m., 2007-2008
The Early Bird Program is restricted to 48 players. Each player can play a minimum of twice a week if everyone plays. The club reserves the right to sell spot time/lessons on up to two courts during this time, until the program is filled. Contract time may be sold during this time, but the number of players allowed in the Early Bird Program will be reduced to insure a minimum of two hours of play a week for all players. Cost per person: $490.00 plus membership and amusement tax. Early Birders wishing to use the Ball Machine during Early Bird time may purchase an Early Bird Ball Machine Membership for an additional $100.00.
Guest Policy: Any person not a member of Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club for the 2007-2008 season must pay a guest fee of $5.00 per person when (1) utilizing a member’s permanent court time or (2) playing as a guest with a member on his/her permanent court time. All non-Early Bird/Nite Owls members must pay a $10.00 guest fee during the EarlyBird/Nite Owls Program and are limited to 4 visits per indoor season.
Contracts: All players on a contract, regardless of playing schedule (rotation), must be members. During the season, 3 complimentary substitutions (no guest fee) will be permitted on all contracts. Guest substitutions will be recorded on Team Captain contract cards. Complimentary substitutions do not apply to the Early Bird Program.
Member Refunds: All deposits are non-refundable, unless the time requested is not available. Refunds are not available for the Early Bird Program.
Insurance: Insurance carriers either no longer provide property coverage for air domes, or provide coverage which is cost prohibitive. Consequently, in the unlikely event of a dome failure resulting in lost contract playing time, QOSTC reserves the right of extend the season 2 weeks beyond the May 3, 2008 closing date to account for any lost playing time, in lieu of cash returns.
Lighting: Like most indoor tennis clubs QOSTC uses halogen lights which require approximately 10-15 minutes to relight in the event of an electrical surge or to relight after a sudden power outage. Although QOSTC will make every effort to accommodate contracts losing time due to long time outage, we will not be able to issue certificates for court time during brief local outages in which the lights are out for 15 minutes or less.
Temperature: During the winter months QOSTC maintains the temperature between 55-60 degrees which after a brief warm-up, is quite comfortable. This ideal playing temperature requires players to wear a light sweater/warm-up for approximately ten minutes after which most players prefer to play in short sleeves and shorts/skirts.
