Quien Soy Yo? PROJECT

ILLUSTRATING FIRST NAME WITH ADJECTIVES AND VERBS

DUE DATE:

Using the Spanish that you have learned thus far, design a poster that describes you. Take a piece of poster paper or oak tag (maximum size 12” × 18”) and cut into a shape that portrays an interest/hobby. Print your name (a minimum of 5 letters, and centered on the paper) vertically from the top to the bottom of the paper using letters about 1” or more in height. If your name is four letters, you may use either the first letter of your last name or you can use your Spanish name. Describe yourself by writing SENTENCES about you, using the adjectives from Chapter 2 and THE “yo” for of the verbs you have learned thus far (SER- to be; TENER- to have; GUSTAR- to like; LLAMARSE- to call oneself).

Each adjective can be used once, and verbs should not be used more than two (2) times. Each sentence must be illustrated. You may use pen, markers, crayons, or paint to do the poster; you may NOT use pencil. Your name must stand out from the other letters in your sentences (larger and/or different color). You must have a picture of you on the poster as well as a sentence, flag, or map of a country that indicates your cultural background.
