QuickBooks® Online has been integrated into parts of University of Phoenix’s business curriculum because of its capacity to support student learning. The instant feedback, unlimited accessibility, and unique content provide students with an encouraging and targeted learning environment.

Do I need to install any software to use QuickBooks® Online?

Yes. You must have Google™ Chrome™ or FireFox installed to access QuickBooks® Online.

Is QuickBooks® Onlinecompatible with an Apple® Macintosh® computer?

Yes, Safari®6 browser will allow you to use QuickBooks® Online.

Will I be automatically logged out of QuickBooks® Onlineafter periods of inactivity?

The system will log you out of the class generated company after 1 hour of inactivity. Since you and your faculty member will be the only people working in this company, there should be no limit to user access.

If questions have multiple parts, will I receive partial credit if a part of the problem is correct?

Yes. You will receive partial credit in these instances.

Does using QuickBooks® Onlinecount toward attendance?

No. QuickBooks® Online is separate from the classroom discussion. You must participate in the class discussions to meet attendance.

Can I submit late work using QuickBooks® Online?

Refer to your instructor’s policies for details on submitting late assignments. Unless a grade of Incomplete has been granted, assignments submitted after the last day of class must not be accepted.

Can I access QuickBooks® Online after the course has ended?

Your student company in QuickBooks® Online will be available for your use in any University of Phoenix courses that use QuickBooks® Online during the course.

Once you have completed the course work, you can access a Sample Company that you can use to practice but it will not save your data here: QuickBooks Online Sample Company.
