Members of the board are particularly concerned about addressing the stringent environmental regulations related to wetlands, riparian vegetation, and fish and bird habitats. As a project engineer, you have been asked to summarize some of the mitigation measures the SCVWD has implemented to ensure that the project provides sufficient flood control while also maintaining and restoring vegetation, wildlife habitat, and recreation area.
