Annual report

Introduction

QUEST Technician Scholars must complete and submit an annual report form to ICE

each year by the deadline specified (typically at the start of the new academic year). The

report helps to keep us informed of your academic performance, progress on your course

and your development.Failure to send a satisfactory report by the deadline may result in late

payment or termination of the scholarship.

Guidance for Section A

The purpose of this section is to confirm that you have successfully passed the previous academic year. Your tutor must fill in, sign and date their section confirming you have passed and that your results are correct.

Guidance for Section B

This section provides the opportunity to reflect on what you have learnt and achieved in the past year at college/university. When completing this section you should consider the guidance below. The number of words specifiedis the minimum we expect, but you must keep within the allocated space on the form.

Your academic performance
  • Details of what went particularly well, or badly, during this academic year
  • What you have learnt and what skills you have developed as a result of these experiences
  • What your aims and objectives for the next academic year are
Workplace experience (if applicable)
  • Details of what you have been involved in during the past year
  • The most important experiences you have had in the past year and what you gained from them
  • What your plans and targets for the next year or future are
Other experience and activities
  • What other activities have you been involved in (e.g. societies, sport, artistic) and how have they helped your development
  • Details of involvement in any ICE activities such as attendance at meetings or events
  • Details of any activities you have been involved in that promoted civil engineering and/or the scholarship

Guidance for Section C

This section should be completed, signed and stamped (where possible) by a tutor or representative at your college or university. Scholarship payments due for the next academic year will only be made when this proof of enrolment is returned.

The deadline for submission of the annual report is 20 October 2017. You must submit

a satisfactory report and ensure that it is received on or before the deadline date, otherwise

your scholarship could be suspended or terminated.
