Queens Of The Stone Age Are The Next Open’er Headliner!

The American rock stars will headline Main Stage on July 5 at Open'er 2013!

Queens Of The Stone Age formed in Palm Desert, California in 1997. The current line-up – Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman and Dan Fertita – formed in 2007. A few weeks ago, frontman Joshua Homme informed that drummer Joey Castillo has left the band and Dave Grohl stood in to record the band’s 6th album.

Queens Of The Stone Age know how to melt many genres of rock, from hard rock and psychedelia to desert rock, of which they are the main representative. During 15 years, they recorded five albums, including the renowned ”Rated R” and ”Songs for the Deaf”, collaborated with Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Mark Lanegan, Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam/Soundgarden) and played hundreds of shows, earning a reputation of one of the best live bands in the world. They’re currently working on the follow-up to the 2007’s “Era Vulgaris”. The new release is due in 2013.

The first artist confirmed to Open’er 2013 are Blur.The date of their first Polish concert in July 3, 2013.
