The resources mentioned in this guide reflect what existed in September 2015. Resources as outlined in this list are subject to change. All activities come with their own fees/costs and potential risks. Town House is not endorsing any one of the activities outlined in this guide but instead hope that it will point you to some of the wonderful assets in our community.

Queen Elizabeth Park/Renwick Brook Walking Trail ●

Located off of Commercial St., Queen Elizabeth Park has trails, picnic areas, fields and a playground.
John Bernard Croak Memorial Park (aka "the #2 Dam") ●
Beacon Street, Glace Bay
Activities: Fishing in summer, skating in winter, and 1.3 km (1 ¼ mile) walking track
Holy Cross Park ●

Activities: 340 metes; has a walking track, which surrounds a soccer field
Black Diamond Ball Fields●

Activities: 845 meters; has a walking track and surrounded by a soccer field and two ball fields
Port Morien Ball Field, Soccer Field, and Walking Track●

Activities: 340 metres; has a walking track, surrounding a soccer field and ball field
Joe Wadden Track●
Donkin, NS
Activities: Located next to the fire hall and just behind the school. The track surrounds the baseball field. Approximately 400-500 steps (a little less than ¼ mile per lap).
