Assignment Requirements:

  1. Summarize the data: Review the individual participant’s responses (pgs. 2 – 5) and provide a cumulative tally of their answers in the summary table on page 6.

Tally the responses from all the employees surveyed, using the table below (on page 6 of the assignment document). I need to see this table correctly filled out with numbers (the number of people choosing each answer for each question).

2.Construct a frequency distribution figure according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

Dr. Kuo’s guide: This requirement is presenting a figure rather than a table, so look for the APA guidelines for constructing a figure (where to put the caption… etc.). There are always various ways of presenting data so there is no one fixed method for doing this. But to simplify the assignment, please construct a bar-graph for each question showing the frequency of each answer for that question. So you should have five figures that look like the following bar graph. These graphs can be created using either SPSS or Excel. There should be videos out these on the internet helping people learn to graph in SPSS and or Excel.

*Please note that my example here does not meet the APA standards for making a figure, which should include a figure number and caption (including the title). Please consult the APA guide or the manual to see what a figure should look like.

3.When your analysis is done, the CEO will ask you for a preliminary assessment; is the company ready for a significant change initiative? What will you tell him?

In 100-250 words, respond to the question, “Do you believe this organization is ready for change?

Explain why or why not.

Look carefully at the questions in the survey and the tallied answers from the participants. Then make a logical decision based on the data and discuss why you think the organization is or is not ready for change. Please follow the expected word count range.
