engagements on suicide prevention, sexual assault, drugs, etc.
Survivors of Suicide. September 1986 to November 1987.
Cofacilitator for this self help group for family members and/or
friends who have lost a loved one through suicide. At times
functioned as a grief counselor.

Family Service Center. March 1984 to March 1988.
Facilitator for family therapy groups in the center's child sexual
abuse program. Led latency group consisting of 9-11 year old boys
and girls. Worked as a cotherapist in a teen group, a women's group
and an orientation group for families joining the program.
Houston Baptist University Counseling Center. March 1985 to May 1986.
Individual therapist for clients referred through the center.
Prior experience related to the personnel field. 1972 to 1982.
Composed classified ads, screened applicants initially by telephone
and subsequently by personal interview, culminating in selection and
training. Recruited, interviewed and conducted orientations for new
hires. Counseled employees regarding personal and professional
problems as requested. Conducted exit interviews with resigning
members and terminations for problem employees.
Prior experience related to the medical field. 1960 to 1969.
Began as a medical transcriptionist, and then worked in doctors' offices
as a medical secretary/administrative assistant. Specialities included
radiology and neurosurgery.
