Quail Run Farm is located on rolling terrain 18 miles north of DFWAirport in Sandy Loam Horse Country which provides excellent drainage and footing for equestrian activities. We have over 80 cross country fences and once organized USCTA & USEA Horse trials for many years.

Course Changes. The Start Box and finish line will be relocated to the front field just north of the Pecan Grove. The Spring courses have all been changed and are very inviting! The Fall will be more challenging!

Tentative Times:

Dressage 8 a.m. All Tests USEA for Eventing A

Preliminary Combined Test followed by HT & CT: Training: Novice. Beginner Novice:

Green As Grass use BN dressage Test A.

Stadium will start at approx. 10 am with Prelim CT- followed by above.

Cross Country will start after Stadium with Training Level. Approximately 1pm

Please sign up ASAP. No fax or E mail entries $20 Late fees apply to HT/CT entries received after Saturday, March 17 and for incomplete entries. Last minute entries and changes entail enormous effort for Kathi our secretary! We aim to run on schedule!

Preference will be given to those who sign up for HT rather than CT if we have to limit entries.

Professionals and riders entering/schooling below their regular level are requested to ride HC.

AWARDS. First placePrize and ribbons 1st-6th per HT division. Dressage ribbons 1-6 per division. We reserve the right to cancel a class with less than four riders or withhold prize and ribbons or combine classes.

Hacking only. (No jumping or schooling) $15

Refund Policy. With bona fide excuse e.g. lame horse, sick rider –no hangovers or poor weather! 24 hrs notice required. Full refund minus $15 office fee. Or you may substitute another horse or rider!

Volunteers Please be prepared to offer 30 minutes of your own or a friend’s time either before or after your ride or make a $10 donation to “Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riders.” Horse Trials are extremely labor intensive. Please remember to volunteer at all your events!

A trainer who has successfully competed at a level higher than that at which he/she is instructing should accompany every rider schooling Cross-country. Please call (before 9 PM) if you would like the names of experienced trainers in our area, or if you have any questions, or require overnight stabling.

Please respect winter ground condition and do NOT over-school jumps. Avoid slick jumps.

Dogs must be LEASHED or remain in a vehicle.

MINORS will not be permitted to ride without a QRF RELEASE signed by PARENT or legal guardianNO EXCEPTIONS!

This is Eventing our ground is terrific and drains well! It is as much work to prepare for 60 entries as it is for 25! Please call ASAP if you have to cancel so that another rider can take your place.
