PVJOBS Positive Pathways Program (P3)

4112 S. Main Street

Los Angeles, CA 90037

Dear Partner,

PVJOBS was recently awarded a new grant called the Positive Pathways Program (P3) to service juvenile offenders ages 16-24. The program is administered by The Mid-Atlantic Network of Youth and Family Services (MANY) and is partially funded by a demonstration grant from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration. The main objective of P3 is to improve the long-term labor market prospects of juvenile offenders from high-crime and high-poverty areas.

The P3 Program provides individualized support delivered through one-on-one academic and career coaching services. The program consists of three critical phases: Assessment, Pathway Design, and Navigation Support. Participants work hand-and-hand with Pathway Coaches to design and implement their Positive Pathway Plan.

Our program will provide services to 300 participants over the next two years. In order to meet this goal, we will rely on referrals from organizations like yours. Our eligibility criteria are listed below and we ask for your support in referring qualified candidates to P3.

·  Currently, or have recently (within 12 months) been involved in the Juvenile Justice System

OR
