  • An exciting event is planned for lunchtime and one not to be missed: DRAGONS BOOK DEN

We shall have three Dragons, who are Mr Davies, Mrs Havinden and Mrs Munro. Pitching to the Dragons will be seven entrepreneurs, who will try to sell their own books to the Dragons – in two minutes.

These wannabe authors are: Mr Davidson, Mr Tsotsi and Mrs Young, as well as four S6 pupils, who are Caitlyn Gallagher, Rhona Sword , Douglas Miller and William Angus.

This event will be hosted by our Magnificent MC: Mr McWhirter.

The entrepreneurs will have, with them, the covers of their books, a title and a story. They will try to win the backing of the Dragons.

This should be an entertaining and exciting event and all participants will be glad of your support.

All in the library, on Thursday 2 March, from 1.00pm

  • On the library door, from Monday, LOVE BOOKS. A big heart shape will be on display and all are encouraged to write, on a heart-shaped sticker, why you love books. Go on, show you care!
