The California Public Utilities Commission and Energy Commission members as well as other state representatives and the California Independent System Operator will discuss the electricity supply-demand outlook for summer 2007, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, and other topical energy issues. Though there may be a quorum of commissioners present, no decisions will be made at this public meeting.
Parties seeking to comment at the December 11 meeting are asked to sign up at the start of the meeting with the Public Advisor. Public comments will be limited given the time constraints of the members; individual speakers should expect to have no more than 3 minutes.

Workshop Notice - Transparency of RPS Procurement Processes (R.06-05-027)

WORKSHOP GOALS:
1. Provide a forum for PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E to present to parties on their RPS bid evaluation and selection processes and criteria, and allow time for questions and clarifications.
2. Provide a forum for the Independent Evaluators of the IOUs’ 2006 RPS solicitations to discuss their involvement in the solicitations.
3. Get parties’ feedback to optimize the templates for several documents that will promote transparency of IOUs’ LCBF processes and LSEs’ aggregate RPS procurement progress.
Renewable energy developers are encouraged to participate in this workshop.
