Designation of Parks

This Regulation is made in English only.

1.(1)The parks named in Column 1 of the Table are the provincial parks of Ontario. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 951, s.1(1).

(2)A provincial park consists of the land delimited or set aside for it, as described in the Schedule referred to in Column 2 of the Table or as described in section 2 of this Regulation. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 951, s.1(2); O.Reg. 136/91, s.1.

2.A provincial park named in this section consists of the following land:

AARON PROVINCIAL PARK

In the geographic Township of Zealand, in the Territorial District of Kenora, containing 116.74 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township, designated as Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 on a plan known as Aaron Provincial Park, filed on November 6, 1998 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ABITIBI-DE-TROYES PROVINCIAL PARK (HISTORICAL CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Kerrs and in unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Cochrane, containing 4,340 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township and unsurveyed territory designated as Part 1, on a plan known as P1616 Abitibi-De-Troyes Provincial Park (Historical Class), filed on March 14, 2005, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

AGASSIZ PEATLANDS PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURE RESERVE CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Pratt and Spohn, and in the geographic Township of Blue, now in the municipal Township of Dawson, in the Territorial District of Rainy River, containing 5,415 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic Townships designated as Parts 1 to 3, both inclusive, on a plan known as Agassiz Peatlands Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on February 24, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ALEXANDER LAKE FOREST PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Antoine, in the Territorial District of Nipissing, containing 1,934 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Part 1 on a plan known as P123 Alexander Lake Forest Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on February 14, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ALEXANDER STEWART PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURE RESERVE CLASS)

In the geographic Township of McNab, in the municipal Township of McNab/Braeside, in the County of Renfrew, containing 30 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Part 1 on a plan known as P45 Alexander Stewart Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on April 22, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ALGOMA HEADWATERS PROVINCIAL PARK (NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Gapp, Gaudry, Hoffman, Handleman, Way-White, Wlasy, Bracci, Ewen, Ferrier and Butcher, in the Territorial District of Algoma, and in the geographic Townships of Schembri, Sherratt, Carton, Carruthers, Neill, Patenaude and Beckett, in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 42,736 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as P273 Algoma Headwaters Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on February 24, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK

In the Territorial District of Nipissing and in the County of Haliburton containing 772,300 hectares, more or less, described as follows:

Beginning at the northeasterly corner of the geographic Township of Fitzgerald;

Thence southerly along the easterly boundary of that township to the northwesterly corner of the geographic Township of Edgar;

Thence easterly along the northerly boundary of that township to the northeasterly corner thereof;

Thence southerly along the easterly boundary of that township to the northwesterly corner of the geographic Township of Bronson;

Thence easterly along the northerly boundary of that township to the northeasterly corner thereof;

Thence southerly along the easterly boundary of the geographic townships of Bronson, Stratton and Master to the southeasterly corner of the last mentioned township;

Thence westerly along the southerly boundary of the geographic townships of Master, Guthrie and Clancy to the intersection with the southerly production of the westerly limit of Lot 23, Concession I, in the geographic Township of Clancy;

Thence northerly along that production and the westerly limit of that Lot 23 to the northwesterly corner thereof;

AMABLE DU FOND RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Township of Calvin, in the municipal Township of Calvin, and in the geographic Townships of Boulter and Lauder, in the Territorial District of Nipissing, containing 731 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 13, both inclusive, on a plan known as P128 Amable Du Fond River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on February 14, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

ARROWHEAD PROVINCIAL PARK

In the geographic Township of Chaffey, now in the Town of Huntsville, in The District Municipality of Muskoka containing 1237.0 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic Township of Chaffey designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Arrowhead Provincial Park, approved on the 18th day of December, 1987 and filed in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources at Toronto, Ontario.

ARROW LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK

In the Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 386.0 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said territorial district, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Arrow Lake Provincial Park, filed on January 29, 1999 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

AUBINADONG-NUSHATOGAINI RIVERS PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Ewen, Ferrier, Havrot, Handleman, McIlveen and Reilly, in the Territorial District of Algoma, containing 4,928 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic townships designated as Part 1 on a plan known as P277 Aubinadong-Nushatogaini Rivers Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on February 14, 2003 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

AUBINADONG RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK (WATERWAY CLASS)

In the geographic Townships of Foulds, Jessiman, Maeck, McNie, Renwick and Timbrell in the Territorial District of Algoma, and in the geographic Township of Cassidy in the Territorial District of Sudbury, containing 2,722 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a Plan known as P319 Aubinadong River Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on January 14, 2002 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
