Protective caps for pipes
Lohne, April 2012. – With the expansion of its comprehensive KAPSTO® standard product range, Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG is again meeting customer expectations. The company’s new GPN220 pipe end caps are one of the beneficial innovations to be seen at this year’s Hannover Messe trade show as they protect pipes with O-rings from damage without touching them.
The advantages of the new GPN220 protection caps become immediately clear during use: Equipped with a grip tab, the pipe end cap is fast and easy to install and remove. In addition to saving time, the internal shaft ensures a perfect fit to close the pipe off securely. At the same time, the external cap jacket protects the O-ring from damage without direct contact.
For even greater flexibility and precision, the new standard KAPSTO® products are made of PE-LLD (linear low-density polyethylene), available in orange in seven different sizes. The new GPN220 pipe end caps can also be tailored to customer requirements.
Furthermore, customers benefit from the continuous improvement and in-house manufacturing that are part of Pöppelmann’s KAPSTO® standard products. More than 3,000 different plastic caps and plugs can be delivered from stock. A team of application engineers develop special solutions based on customer specification, such as combining protection with assembly functions.
The wide range of KAPSTO® standard products, including the new GPN220 pipe end caps, can be seen and ordered for the first time at HMI 2012.
