Proposed Dialogue on Climate Resilient and Carbon Neutral Development

Objectives:

  1. Develop indicative mandate for climate change action in Bhutan through a policy, legislation, or strategy for climate change.
  2. Launch preparation of Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) from Bhutan for the new climate agreement under UNFCCC due by October 2015.
  3. Initiate process for preparation of National Adaptation Plans for Bhutan.
  4. Consider the Carbon Neutral commitment and related mitigation actions.
  5. Inform stakeholders on climate change action and activities in Bhutan.
