Summary of Role:

This position is responsible for developing sales with global chemical vendor (GCV) sales districts, regional chemical vendors (RCV) and OEM’s. The territory will include TN, SC, GA, AL, MS, AR and FL.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sell and exceed sales goals;
  • Develop and manage RCV and OEM customers;
  • Develop a sales plan with Corporate Account Managers for GCV’s
  • Proactively work with sales representatives of our GCV customers;
  • Execute our sales processes with discipline;
  • Identify new opportunities;
  • Provide timely sales call summaries, weekly summaries and CRM/Database updates;
  • Participate in regular product and application training
  • Deliver product and application training to customers and prospects.
  • Participate in lead generation at trade shows;
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures;
  • Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner;
  • Accomplish goals, meet deadlines and objectives;
  • Support Client, Company and Team;
  • Maintains company confidentiality;
  • Other duties as required to attain company goals.

Essential Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years using mechanical equipment in chem feed and control;
  • Multitask and prioritize accordingly;
  • Ability to work in a team environment by contributing to the success of the department;
  • Proven self-motivational skills;
  • Ability to use creativity and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
  • Active role in appropriate professional organizations to network and nurture relationships;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years outside sales experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field;
  • Experience with cooling towers, boilers, water and/or waste water treatment;
  • Preferably located in Alabama or Georgia.
