Find inspiration in creations developed by a global community. Download, play, and even remix games to add new ideas. Enter Crossroads, where players create new games by making simple choices to build their own custom adventures, and then modify them to make them their own. Engage online with a global community of content creators and players, where players can share ideas, and create new ones.

Prerequisites

A passion to Play and Create

The Challenge

In this challenge you will experience the amazing capabilities of Project Spark to create a Game Level and share it with the project spark community. You will then be able to play this level on a Windows 8.1 PC or an Xbox One. The challenge will involve completing the built in, Starter Tutorial titled 3D Adventure. The goal of the Challenge is to

Create a Hero Add An Enemy  Make a Mountain  Make a path  Create a Goal

  1. You will launch the Project Spark App and Select Create.
  1. You will now select the option “Tutorials”
  2. On the Next Screen you will Select “Play”
  3. You Will now select your Preferred Input Device – On the PC we recomemnd using Touch or Mouse and Keyboard (Depending on your Win 8l1 Device)
  4. Follow the On Screen Instructions to Complete your tutorial.
  5. AT any time you can Exit the Tutorial by Clicking Exit Tutoria & Presing the ESC Key.
  6. After Exiting you can always Test your Level and Save it on our Azure Cloud to play it later from your PC and/or Xbox One. You can add on to your budding level with the ability to test and save it to the cloud at any time. The challenge is a jumping off point for further creations!
