Project Name: VIDEO – BLOG
Objective:
Video blog is an application that will help the student community to publish pictures & videos. Students can record and upload their personal video files through 3G mobile/IP Client to a web portal which can be shared to a group or community. BTT has provided an engine which takes script file as input. The script file can be developed using BTT Application Development Took kit.
Scope:
Video Blog Setup
In order to accomplish the above project, following will be the role of students
1. Designing User Experience (Call Flow)
2. Designing video screens required for the call flow.(ex : Welcome video)
3. Video File Creation
4. Developing Call flow
5. Designing Web Portal pages
6. Developing Web Portal to view uploaded files.
7. Integrating Web Portal with Video Script.
8. Testing and Implementation.
Note:
1. Currently there is no 3G line available in UTD (expected from Verizon) for video over mobile phones through 3G network.
2. At present calls can be made and received using Desktop client like Mirial or IP Phones available in the market. Once the 3G network is available, video blogging can be done through 3G phone.
