Project: My favourite dish / meal

Plan for the first meeting in Germany:

Monday
morning / 8:30– 13:20 at schoolkitchen
  1. Icebreaker
  2. Presentation of favourite dishes from participating countries
Students and teachers of the participating countries show a selection of their favourite traditional recipes and tell the other groups how the meals are prepared and on which occasions they are eaten if applicable
After that: ACTIVITY “Let´s cook in international groups”
-Students choose traditional meals, check recipes and cook the meal
-Take pictures with iPads, create documentation
-Having lunch together
-Check recipes for possible improvements
afternoon / Visitto Eberbach
Tuesday
morning / 8:30 – 13:20 at school kitchen
ACTIVITY “Let´s cook in international groups”
-Students choose their favourite meals, check recipes and cook the meals. Various courses are created
-Take pictures with iPads, create documentation
-Having lunch together
-Check recipes for possible improvements
afternoon (14-16) /
  1. Workshop: Working with e-books
Robert Bittner from the regional media center gives an introduction to how to create e-books using the app e-book creator on iPads.
Video editing using the app iMovie is presented.
Wednesday
morning / 8:30 – 13:20 at school kitchen
-Working withe-books
-Workshop – working with e-books on an international cookbook
– layout, structure
-Pictures videos: BRING MEDIA!!

-Students choose their favourite regional meals, check recipes and cook the meals. Various courses are created
-Take pictures with iPads, create documentation
-Having lunch together
-Check recipes for possible improvements
Afternoon 14-16 /
  1. Working withe-books

morning / 9:40 at school
8:30 – 13:20 at school kitchen
-Working withe-books
-Workshop – working with e-books on an international cookbook
– layout, structure
-Pictures videos: BRING MEDIA!!

  1. Students choose „Healthy and delicious snacks / breakfast“
  2. Students are selling the snacks in the break – donation to a social charity organisation
  3. Finishinge-book
  4. Farewell
