Purpose:
·  celebrate success throughout Scottish education over the last 10 years since the introduction of the Parental Involvement Act 2006
·  showcase evidence of the impact and outcomes for children through involving parents and families in their child’s learning
·  drive forward a commitment among education and community leaders to further embed parental and family engagement throughout our early learning and childcare, schools and communities with a particular focus on closing the equity gap in educational outcomes and in raising attainment for all
·  explore themes of: raising standards in literacy and numeracy; employability; engaging parents in diverse communities; and transitions
