Program Descriptions

ADP User Group Meetings have been created for clients who want to enhance their best practice knowledge of their ADP product suite. This one day program will provide you, the client, with opportunities to discover best practices, network with industry peers, hear about future product enhancements and receive on site assistance from expert ADP associates. Below you will find detailed program descriptions and information concerning continuing education credits.

These sessions are eligible for Continuing Education Credits. Please stay until the end of the program to receive a certificate of completion.

ADP is an approved provider of recertification credit hours (RCH) by the American Payroll Association (APA), continuing professional education (CPE) credits by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and is an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA22102. Most ADP courses are eligible for RCHs, CPE credits, and continuing education units (CEUs).

RCHs, CPE credits, and CEUs provide recognition for updating or broadening professional competencies and may be used to maintain certifications, such as the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Professional organizations establish their own certification procedures which are subject to change.

Professional organizations often require documentation of class objectives, agenda, and duration along with a certificate of completion. This information is provided below. Your instructor will provide you with a certificate of completion at the end of this class.

Morning Welcome and General Session

ADP Workforce Now®Transformation through Technology

As technology has improved so has the industry and the resources available. Technology has improved so fast that it can be hard to keep up with the latest advances. Hear how leveraging technology can transform an organization’s HR and Payroll practices by streamlining processes and improving service and access to information for employees and managers.

Morning Break-Out Sessions

These sessions have been created to assist you with garnering the most out of your ADP solutions and services by sharing best practices and review of product information. Break-Out sessions will consist of roundtable discussions, presentations by seasoned ADP service professionals and opportunity for questions and answers. These sessions will be repeated immediately following the first session.In order to provide this program speakers and facilitators are required to have product and industry related knowledge.

Talk one-on-one with a Payroll, Time & Attendance or HR product expert. Internet access will be available for onsite product access. Products to be assisted with include ADP Workforce Now®, Pay eXpert, PCPayroll, HR & Benefits Module, ezLaborManager, and the ADP Reporting Product.

ADP Workforce Now® Upgrade Booth

Sign-up onsite for a free upgrade to ADP Workforce Now®. Associates will be available throughout the day to assist with one-on-one ADP Workforce Now® upgrade questions and more. Every migration experience can be different and in order provide the best one possible, get the assistance you will need to make the decision to upgrade and when.

Client Training Enrollment BoothWork one-on-one with an enrollment specialist to create a training curriculum to refresh your product knowledge and get the most out of your ADP solutions. Sign-up for courses at no cost.

Note:Questions will be handled on a first come first serve basis. Please come prepared with your questions. However, please allow time for other attendees to participate as well.

Topic: Everyday Tips and Time Savers

Description: It's always important to use the right tools and processes in order to do a good job. Using the HR Benefits module is no different. Come to this session to review and refresh some of the common tools in the HR Benefits module to make the most of your time management and improve your proficiency. This session will cover our common client calls that are encountered ever day and how to best resolve them! See features around HR Benefits Reporting that will allow you to get better, quicker results. Additional topics will include areas of Connection Mapping, Employee Maintenance, Importing, and Benefits updating.

Topic: Getting the Most out of your ADP Tax Filing Services

Description: This presentation will review how ADP resources can assist with maintaining PR compliance and provide assistance with information need for changing tax legislation and regulation.Discuss best practices and participate in the Q&A session in this interactive presentation.

Topic: What’s New with ezLaborManager?

Product: ezLaborManger and Workforce Now Time & Attendance

Description:This presentation will cover the New and Exciting Enhancements in the latest version of ezLaborManager that will be available this spring. Topics include the following enhancements:

  • Timecard Manager and Timecard Enhancements
  • Browser Certifications
  • Hide Recurring Schedules
  • Sort by Employee Seniority Date on Schedules
  • Employee Calendar

Topic: ADP Workforce Now® Client Spotlight

Product: Any

Description: Hear from an industry peer that has recently gone through an upgrade to ADP Workforce Now®.Content will include business strategy, employee adoption and post upgrade opportunities. Discuss best practices, lessons learned and participate in the Q&A session.

Afternoon Break-Out Sessions

Afternoon sessions vary from the morning session as these presentations will be delivered by ADP Product Strategy experts. These sessions have been created to provide you with a roadmap of enhancements for specific ADP products and also garner your feedback and industry insight. In order to provide this program speakers and facilitators are required to have product and industry related knowledge.These sessions will be repeated immediately following the first session.

Topic: What’s your position and how secure do you want to be?

Product: HR Benefits

Description: We are looking into the future and want your input and ideas for two of our HR Roadmap items that are in the making. This will be an interactive session, so come prepared to speak your mind and impact the solution that will be delivered in the next 12-18 months.

We will be focusing on how you want to handle Position Control and Security Configuration across Work Force Now. Please talk with your peers to get their ideas and thoughts on how positions are managed and budgeted not only in your organization but in theirs. For Security, put your thinking cap on and have your ideas for how to manage changes to security configuration in Work Force Now. We want to understand from your perspective how to handle change. When a Practitioner or Administrator takes on a new role, how do we change the security configuration, when a new hire comes on board what steps need to be taken, when hiring a group of employees/individual or reducing a group of employees/individual what should be taken into consideration with security and access to the application. We want to hear from you!
