•Biography
Dorothy Wilhelm is a professional speaker, humorist, radio and TV broadcaster who speaks nationally on the subjects of creativity and humor to solve the problems of adjusting to life change. She has been a professional speaker and coach for thirty years and has worked with numerous local city governments to help staff members learn to speak and cope with media appearances. •Experience
I am a founding member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the National Speakers Association, the only international organization for professionals who make their living speaking. This means that I have spent the last thirty years learning and teaching my craft. I started my speaking career teaching in the Business department of Bates Technical College, Circa 1985-1988, teaching Dealing With Difficult People, Time Management, and speaking. I was also the keynote speaker at the 2010 Bates Professional Day which gave the welcome to Interim President Lyle Quasim to Bates Technical College.
