Release Notes Summary

The product Release Notes highlight the latest features and implementation deliverables completed since the last production release. The Release Notes are intended to highlight product enhancements and changes and can be used as reference in combination with other product materials such as the feature videos and training artifacts delivered after each product release as well as the ongoing work with customer project teams. The first section details new features in this release. The final section of the notes highlights specific Client Implementation completed since the last release.

New Features

Portal System Administration

Updated Layout of Staff Management (D-12346)

Overview:

·  Previously the Staff Management – Staff Details page showed Staff and Administration on the same page. As part of this release, these two disparate functions will be separated onto different tabs within the same page.

·  Additionally, pagination has been added to these pages. If the number of users exceeds 25 names, the records will display on multiple pages.

Key Benefits:

·  This page will load faster as a result of the tabbed display. Additionally, this will prevent left/right scrolling issues that have traditionally impacted this display.

User Search – Displaying Users without Identified Location (B-07321)

Overview:

·  When the system is configured to restrict user account search results based on location (i.e. a principal can only see his/her site’s results), the system previously only showed users with an identified location. With this update, users without an identified location will display in a user search to all administrators with search privileges.

Key Benefits:

·  When users are moved from one location to another, the new administrator can locate the designated user without the assistance of a system super user.

User Interface

Increased Default Font Size in Rich Text Editor (B-07261)

Overview:

·  When a user begins entering text in rich text editors, the default font size has been increased to size 14.

Key Benefits:

·  Text entered into the RTE will now be easier to read upon entry and upon consumption.

PD Connect (Formerly Professional Learning Management Suite)

Lock Rows & Columns on Attendance Sheet (B-06972)

Overview:

·  Within the attendance roster, if there are more dates that can display in one pane horizontally and/or more participants than can show vertically, the system will automatically lock rows and columns while scrolling.

Key Benefits:

·  Regardless of number of meeting times or number of participants, it is easy for instructors to know for whom or for which date the information being recorded is associated.

Quick Access for Course Proposal Form (B-07289)

Overview:

·  The button/drop down used to generate a blank course request form is now available on the first page that a user navigates to. Prior to this release, the user would click on “Create Course” or “Propose a Course” and navigate to Course Projects. Now, this option is available from the first screen.

Key Benefits:

·  This change makes the course creation page more accessible and visible to course creators within the system.
