Terms of Sale
Orders will be despatched within 10- working days by next day courier, whichever is more suitable. In the unlikely event that an order is lost, damaged, or delayed we won't be able to cover for any damages or losses beyond that of replacing the goods as a gesture of good will. Please let us know of any problem by straight away checking the contents of your parcel when received and letting us know so we can assist where possible. Delivery for overseas, highlands and islands is not encouraged unless satisfactory delivery service is available for the extra days delays without the spoilage of the perishable goods in transit.
Out of stocks
If an item is not in stock when we process your order we will process the remaining items so that we get your order to you as soon as possible. If an item isn’t in stock we will either replace with similar item of equal value but will contact you first for approval by email or phone. Otherwise it will need to be the subject of a fresh order which complies with all our terms and conditions.
Delivery costs
Delivery fee applies to all orders of goods £35 and above. If the value of available goods is below £35, the order will not be processed for delivery to and outside the UK Mainland. Orders below this value have a packaging and carriage cost of £16.90. Each temperature controlled box with the required number of ice sheets is charged at £8.00 for packing plus “Anytime Next Day” delivery fee, inclusive of VAT @20%.
Product Information & Allergy Advice
Product information, dietary flags, photographs, and pack sizes are all for illustrative purposes and general advice are correct at the time of completing a production run. Though they are correct these can change due to new regulations. We aim to our best to be up to date with all the changes and regulations. All our recipes are standardised but it may become necessary to change these to improve them without notice. From time to time, packaging, dietary advice and classifications can also change without notice, so please always check the details on the packaging before using. This is especially important if there is a possibility of an allergic reaction.
Prices
Sizes and prices charged can change without notice. The prices as shown on the website are correct on the day of despatch.
Guarantee and Cancellations
Afia’s Food mission is to provide you with 100% satisfaction and are committed to making high-quality produce that we’re sure you will enjoy. Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are purchased. We also recommend that you keep your receipt or order number and receipt /invoice number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging and invoice, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
If for any reason you are not entirely happy or wish to cancel your order just let us know at least 1-working day before your order is dispatched by calling 07974669194 (please check with your service provider for call charges) or best to email . Once your order is dispatched for delivery, the order cannot be cancelled or amended for food products – frozen, chilled, fresh, and ambient.
Afia’s shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. All our deliveries are made by a third party courier service provider. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
In the unlikely event that an order is lost, damaged, delayed or faulty because of the courier delivery company, we won't be able to cover for any damages or losses beyond that of replacing the goods. Please check the contents of your parcel as soon as is received and let us know of any problem straight away because of the nature of our products being perishable. Frozen, chilled, fresh, and ambient food products cannot be returned.
If you leave an instructions for the courier where to leave parcel if you are not at home without signing for it you immediately waive your right for a refund or replacement if the item is damaged or stolen or not within the accepted food safe temperature below 6C as it isn't possible to guarantee its integrity after delivery.
This website is only for delivery of products to customers within theMainland UK and Europe. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.
Privacy Policy
Under the principles of the Data Protection Act we need to inform you that we hold a record of all the details we need for setting you up and servicing you as a customer. This includes special delivery instructions and dietary requirements if applicable. This information may also be used as a basis for sending you information we think will interest you. Should you wish not to be included in this please let us know by email to to opt out, but obviously we need the information on file to service you as a customer. If our records of your name, address, telephone number or any other special information are in any way inaccurate please let us know as we want to maintain up to date records.

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us.

Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Our service to you is governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws and courts of England. When shopping with us your statutory rights are protected.
International Use
Afia’s Food is not able to guarantee that any product or content on the Afia’s site is appropriate or available for use in locations outside the UK and accessing the Afia’s site from territories where its content is illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access the Afia’s site and/or order from it from locations outside the UK you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws and import duties or taxes.
