Thanks to an intuitive interface and advanced features for creating raster roughs and vector drawings, the paperless process based on Toonz Bravo meets the expectations of the market as it allows to mass-produce animation, while cutting the costs.
It is possible to draw in a digital light table environment and create turn-around character models defining joint points and skeletons, that can be stored in and retrieved from the library for the actual production with endless reuse.
Scenes can be composited by moving and animating animation levels and imported character models over background elements according to the xsheet; pegbars and camera can be moved to create more complex shots, also in a 3D environment with an automatic multiplane effect; special FX, chosen among a very wide set including a particles engine, can be easily applied to any scene content as they are completely integrated in the working environment, with the possibility to define macros and presets; then sequences of frames and clips can be rendered out in the format and resolution required by the production.
Production material can be easily stored and retrieved for a quick reuse, from one studio to another as well, and version control system is integrated both to store the database on a central repository while editing your local working copy, and to track the file history and retrieve previous revisions for every file.
