November 2017 PTOMeeting Minutes

In attendance.... Tara Brown, Jessica Hoehn, Staci Marek, Amy Buckli, Lori Thomson, Carolyn Blumer, Wendy Newman, Stacy Reichert, Amanda Guthman, Dustin Mertens

Apparel is still in progress.... orders are due Nov 11th

Proceeds are going towards a digital piano for Dolly Neby!

Wendy suggested a family fun night with MrsNeby to help raise he rest of the money for her piano.... possibly dueling pianos ....possibly set up a few donation baskets for a silent auctions.We will see how much is raised from the apparel sale and chat again next meeting.

Movie day Nov 25th Saturday after thanksgiving "COCO -Day of the Dead"

We will start at 9:30 doors open at 9am Amanda reserved two rooms...

Bingo date is set for March 1st6-8 pm. We will start collecting donations for prizes..

Amanda is asking Caddyshack, Reds, Bowling Alley, Del's. Tara will check with Hope & Anchor and Whimsical wares. Staci will check with DQ Kristi will check with Skate city and hubbys shop!

Lyceum ideas.... Carolyn Blumer is going to look into some ideas, possibly an author or science based... we would mainly like to see something that it's interactive. Also open to doing all grade levels.Carolyn will gather some information for us and let us know.

Staci submitted $292.10 of Boxtops so we should be receiving a check sometime in December!

Wendys final payment to Del went through. $902 proceeds from the fall sale.... Scholastic sale total was $5635.17. Book fair $3539.02. $1769.51 scholastic dollarsCoupons 2358.92 scholastic dollars

Almost $400 coupons were used

Book fair was a success monies haven't been completed in our account yet... Lori should have those soon.

Shonda asked if teachers could come up with a wish list... therefore the parents that don't find anything they'd like to purchase, they could at least purchase a book for their child's classroom.We thought that was a great idea.

Dustin suggested a Sunday afternoon winter play day possibly in the gym.... or possibly hosting an afternoon with sledding.Staci is going to check with Scott Kowalski to see what the liabilities would be if we used the hill that is on the schools property.Kristi suggested hot cocoa and cookies would be fun to serve to the kids and families.

Counted all of our Milk Moola during the last part of the meeting. Staci will drop it off with Amanda to ship.

Meeting adjourned at 7:10 pm, members stayed to count Milk Moola.
