PRIOR TO THE FOURTH MEETING

[LODGE LETTERHEAD]

Welcome Brother [______],

Congratulation on being raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. We welcome you as a member and full participating Brother of our Fraternity. Your travels are now crowned with the highest degree of recognition that Masonry can bestow.

The Masonic portion of your life’s journey is now fully underway, and many new friendships and adventures await you. As is true with most things, you will get out of Masonry what you are prepared to put into it. Your Assigned Master Craftsman, the Lodge Officers and Brethren will assist you in your travels in Masonry. You are entitled to all the rights and privileges due a Master Mason. You may participate fully in the business and affairs of your Lodge. Eventually, you may even serve as an officer.

You bring to our fraternity your enthusiasm, unique skills, and interests. A sincere desire to join with us in the brotherhood of Freemasonry will propel you to even greater accomplishment. Help us and yourself by making your Officers and Brethren aware of those activities which you enjoy. We invite you to offer your talents and skills for the benefit of your Lodge and the fraternity.

Your skills in socializing among the Brethren will improve with participation. Meet your Brethren, observe them, work with them and you will learn and enjoy the fraternity even more.

We are looking forward to meeting with you again on [date], at [time], at [place], for our last formal education session. Though this is the last formal session, your Assigned Master Craftsman has been assigned to be with you for one year. The whole of the fraternity will be with you in your working and continued learning. Our fraternal best wishes to you as you increase your understanding of Freemasonry. Continue proving yourself to be a skilled workman - one who is justly called, A MASTER AMONG MASONS.

Fraternally,

Worshipful Master
