Printing within Pearson MyNursingLab for Students

You can print different types of content from within MyNursingLab. Your MyNursingLab will open each type of document in the correct tool. There are two types of printing:

1) Printing of content contained in your course but is created with standard applications (PowerPoint slides, PDF files, links to the web). You may use your browser capability to print web pages and you may use a desktop application such as Adobe or Microsoft Word to print other documents.

2) Printing of content that is developed within the platform (results of your online quizzes and tests and reports of your activities).

From the Course Content tool:

  1. You will find that many activities within Course Content can be printed. For links and documents, click Open from the Options menu. The Options menu can be found by scrolling your cursor over the name of the folder or document to get the drop down Options menu on the right side. You may also see a blue circle with a down arrow to the right of the folder or document – click on that circle for the Options menu.

In this example, when you choose Open from the Options menu, the Chapter Highlights open within Adobe Reader and you can print the document.
  2. Course Content also contains a wealth of other files such as PowerPoint or links accessible through your browser. For this type of content, choose Open and then you can print using the print options in your browser or by downloading the file to your desktop and using the application's print capability or open the file in your browser which will launch the application.
Note: You cannot print pretests, post tests, quizzes and tests until after you have taken them.
