This free teacher’s resource uses colourful photos from Oxfam’s library, and interactive activities, to educate 9-11 year olds about the global importance of clean water. The activities encourage speaking and listening, the development of thinking skills and the use of graphs and charts. There are seven activities including quizzes, case studies and ideas for action, each supported in the teachers notes with a lesson guide and background information. As well as geography, the resource is also suitable for English, Citizenship, PSE, Maths, Science and Environmental Studies.

A variety of open-ended activities invite learners to think of their own ideas and to reflect on some of the choices available to them.
