Primary ABQ Practicum – Distance
You are required to spend 12 hours in a primary classroom setting
You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date
Necessary (downloadable) forms are available on class Blackboard once the course begins
Other summer options include: summer school, summer camps, daycare facilities, etc.

Junior ABQ Practicum – Distance
You are required to spend 12 hours working with Junior Division Learners
You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date

You are required to spend 12 hours working with Intermediate Division Learners

Special Education, Part I Practicum – Distance
You are required to spend a minimum of 24 hours of work with 2 or more students with different identified exceptionalities
12 of these 24 hours are used for observation
You will be asked to apply your observations in course assignments
You can arrange your own practicum at a local school but you can only begin your practicum after the course start date
